This is a membership website - but read this! Aisosa writes, "I draw on my personal experience of child criminal exploitation to provide expertise and guidance to a range of organisations in their Anti-Trafficking work, and I have recently been awarded the Crime Fighter of the Year award at the prestigious Crimecon True Crime Awards held in London in recognition of the impact I've made on the criminal justice system in the U.K.

As a Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP) consultant with the Human Trafficking Foundation, I design and present impactful modern slavery training and awareness sessions to improve the response of modern slavery first responders. I collaborate with statutory agencies, NGOs, and other relevant bodies to bring lived experience into learning to help improve understanding, attitudes, and how services are delivered. Working alongside the organisation Dignifi, I have trained over 250 Youth Offending Team (YOT) staff in trauma-informed approaches when working with children and young people.
I regularly provide input into modern slavery guidance, policy, and research. I help identify the gaps, challenges, and opportunities for improved response to child criminal exploitation.

Some of the projects I have supported include the Human Trafficking Foundation's 'Child Criminal Exploitation and the Need for Consistency 2022 report and Birmingham City Council's Pre-NRM Casework Toolkit.

I have dedicated significant time to a series of direct engagement, prevention, and intervention projects aimed at protecting children and young people from involvement in crime and criminal exploitation. My work with organisations, including Unique Talent CIC, makes a genuine difference in children's and young people's lives through bespoke support and mentoring.

Your subscription allows me to continue to make a difference in supporting those involved or at risk of gang involvement, modern-day slavery, child criminal exploitation, and serious youth violence. Supporting a range of organisations to provide expertise and guidance on policy and research to their Anti-Trafficking work and allowing me to develop my personal growth through education and training."

People leaving prison need the best possible chance to rebuild their lives if they are to move out of the justice system for good.

For many people, key to achieving that is long-term holistic support through a relationship based on trust. StandOut delivers intensive group programmes inside prison followed by 1:1 individually-tailored support after release for as long as required.
The StandOut Helpline was launched in May 2020 in response to the Covid-19 lockdown which prevented delivery of all activities and programmes across the prison estate.

This affected everyone in prison. For prison leavers, it meant they were heading to the gate with no preparation, and in many cases no contact at all with services prior to release, and were therefore leaving with the discharge grant of £46 and often nowhere to go.

We are SafeLives, a UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse. We combine insight from services, survivors and statistics to support people to become safe, well and rebuild their lives. No one should live in fear. It is not acceptable, not inevitable, and together, we can make it stop. Every year, over two million people in the UK experience domestic abuse. Not one of them should have to wait until they're in crisis before we pay attention. We believe that domestic abuse can be stopped. Stopped before it starts. Stopped before it ruins lives. The cycle needs to stop. Forever. For everyone.

Young Londoners are full of ambition and aspiration. We want to ensure that continues into their adult lives and that they can thrive without the challenges of exploitation and violence.

This is not yet the reality for enough young Londoners. Many are facing challenges from multiple avenues; be it personal experience, or simply in the places where they live, learn and have fun.

We believe that all young Londoners can have a positive and productive future. Whatever their history, when a child or young person comes to Safer London, they are just that – a child or a young person. We work alongside them to help unlock their potential, so they can move forward positively.

We put young Londoners at the centre of their support. Our focus is on them and their needs. By building strong, trusting relationships we gain an insight into their world, begin to understand what they need and together find the best ways to keep them safe. We work not only with them and their families, but also their peer networks and directly within the community and the places where they live and spend their time.

We’re committed to learning, innovating, and delivering high quality, evidence-based support. With a footprint in every borough in London, we build trusting, professional partnerships with statutory, charitable and community partners to embed our approaches and work towards achieving our vision.

Every day, Samaritans volunteers respond to around 10,000 calls for help.

We’re here, day or night, for anyone who’s struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure.

Samaritans is not only for the moment of crisis, we’re taking action to prevent the crisis.

We give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others. And we encourage, promote and celebrate those moments of connection between people that can save lives.

We offer listening and support to people and communities in times of need.

In prisons, schools, hospitals and on the rail network, Samaritans are working with people who are going through a difficult time and training others to do the same.

Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy, and Samaritans’ vision is that fewer people die by suicide.

That’s why we work tirelessly to reach more people and make suicide prevention a priority.

At SAVE A LIFE DITCH THE KNIFE our aim is to serve communities, and help to inspire our young people to join the right path, away from gangs, street crime, knife crime and anti-social behaviour. Youth violence has devastating consequences for families and our communities, and to society at large. It destroys too many young lives, and sees many bright futures taken away. We also support families that are the victims of knife crime, and send birthday and Christmas messages if that is appropriate. We also cover daily knife crime news across the UK, and we compile monthly statistics on fatal stabbings. Although based in Clacton, we are a national group, covering the whole of the UK.

The Selby Trust was set up as a charity in 1992 by local people who recognised the need for a multi-purpose centre led by the community and third sector organisations. It was supported by the late Bernie Grant MP, who had a vision for a place in the community that people could afford and call their own. Selby registered as charity in May 1994 and Company Limited by guarantee in May 1993.

Since 1992, it has operated from the Selby Centre in Tottenham, in former school premises, which the Trust manages as a multi-purpose community and social enterprise centre, with a 25 year lease from LB Haringey. The site is 150,000 square feet, with offices, meeting rooms, training facilities, sports and events halls and a large car park.

Selby Centre, which is located in an area of high deprivation, brings together a rich mix of individuals and organisations, primarily from BME, refugee and other historically excluded communities in Tottenham, Haringey, north London and beyond.

Almost 80% of Selby Trust funding is self-generated.

The success of Shannon Trust relies on the quality of the relationship between mentors and learners. Behind the scenes there is a team of people who need to work together to make this experience of learning positive and life enriching. For most of us, reading is a skill we take for granted. For thousands of people in prison, reading a letter from home, a job application or a newspaper is impossible. Shannon Trust changes this, giving adults in prison the chance to learn to read 1-to-1 with a peer mentor.

The Slipstreamers were formed in 1998.  The founder's aim was to encourage more young people into the sport of cycling , making it fun whilst teaching them how to ride and race correctly and safely. That aim continues today. For more information about Hillingdon Cycle Circuit see https://hillingdoncyclecircuit.org.uk/home/

The club started with approximately 20 children, and it was the members who chose the name “ Slipstreamers”, as their coaches were always telling them to slipstream each other. In 2004 the Hillingdon Slipstreamers became part of British Cycling’s “Go-Ride” scheme and in 2006 the club gained Sport England’s prestigious Clubmark status. Do you want to have fun? Learn some basic skills? Hone your jumps as mountain biker? Become a national champion? Go for gold at the Olympics?

Within Slipstreamers, we have a balanced programme that meets our British Cycling commitment by delivering sessions that have a focus starting with 70% skills and 30% physical in our Bronze Group, rising to 50% skills and 50% performance development when you reach the Gold Group. We will help you develop a strong foundation in skills that you develop and perfect at Slipstreamers, and help you as you progress through to very high performance levels. We are committed to ensuring that you get the right level of coaching to aid your improvement as a rider. And each year, as we grow, the archives of our history book becomes richer with the amazing achievements of our riders and the incredible dedication of our volunteer workforce, many of whom have won numerous awards over the years.

South London Cares is a community network of young professionals and older neighbours hanging out and helping one another in our rapidly changing city. We do this because London is a place of extremes. While our capital is one of the most dynamic places in the world, full of cultural and economic opportunities and a hotbed of innovation and change, it can also be anonymous, lonely and isolating.  For our older neighbours in particular, many of whom have spent a lifetime in their home neighbourhoods in Southwark and Lambeth, the rush and pace of the city can often now feel too much. Getting around can be frightening, and trends including globalisation, gentrification, migration, digitisation and the housing bubble are transforming our communities faster than ever. The multiplying effect of those pressures is that many older people have deep roots – from Brixton to Bermondsey – but few connections. Meanwhile, young professionals – often graduates from across the country and around the world – can have hundreds of connections in the social media age, but no roots in their communities. The separation of those parallel worlds wastes human potential, entrenches loneliness and isolation, perpetuates social division and is ultimately corrosive for our society. South London Cares seeks to address this modern blight of disconnection in our capital by harnessing the people and places around us for the benefit of all.

Although not a school, the same foundation of tutoring to help these children reach their academic potential still applies. Team Up tutors will be helping these boys to appreciate the importance of education and open their eyes to the future opportunities available to them. They were recently awarded £28,600, to work with 40 young black males (aged 8-16) who are at-risk of becoming involved in knife crime and gang activity, via small group workshops and working with parents and local services in Lambeth and Southwark.

We believe in change. We run two coaching programmes in prisons across London and the South East, that have been proven to encourage rehabilitation and reduce reoffending: transforming the lives of over 1,000 people living and working in our prisons.

Prisons are not protecting the public.

• 99% of people who are currently in prison will be released.

• On average, around 70,000 people leave prison every year.

• Nearly half of all people leaving prison will commit another crime, within one year of release.

• Reoffending is expensive, and costs us £15 billion annually.

• Prisons are not an effective way of preventing future crime, or keeping us safe.

Our prisons are not working, and are failing at protecting the public. Tackling reoffending benefits all of us and improves everyone’s lives – it means there is less crime and fewer future victims. It means we all live in a safer society.

Coaching can transform lives and environments.

Coaching uses tools and techniques that can help transform lives and environments. It has been established, and recognised by global governments, as a transformative tool in healthcare, employment, education and sport. Coaching enables self-sufficiency, fosters independence and builds personal responsibility so that individuals, and systems, can find their own solutions to their own problems. It empowers people – those living and working in our prisons – to become leaders of their own lives. We run coaching programmes in prisons across London and the South East, to encourage rehabilitation and reduce reoffending. ‘The Conversation’ is our systems coaching programme that brings together large groups of prison staff and prisoners in a facilitated group coaching process, to change the culture and environment of prison wings by improving prison staff and prisoner’s relationships, empathy and understanding.

We're an award-winning charity that supports young people and those who face injustice to make positive, productive life choices.

Since 2006, our community-inspired black led initiative has worked across London, Kent and Bucks to help young people to navigate key aspects of life to reduce and prevent the risk of offending.

Through our programmes of awareness, mentoring, detached (we meet young people in streets and areas with high rates of violence and we help them develop an exit strategy from criminal lifestyles) and casework, we plant a seed that continues to grow as children become youth and youth become adults. In particular, we work with vulnerable children and young people aged 11 – 25, in school and in the community.

We guide them to stay in education and access training and employment opportunities. We help them improve their relationships with family and significant others.  We teach them how to stay safe and avoid risky situations. We provide them with counselling so they can become emotionally resilient and live happier lives.

We believe that young people thrive when those around them create a system of support. This is why we train parents how to support other parents. We empower them to feel connected with their children, understand their problems and learn how to ask for support. We equip adults, such as school teachers and youth workers, with the tools and techniques they need to better support young people when we are not there.

At Sported we give community groups the support they need to ensure their long-term sustainability and build their capacity to help even more young people in their local area. We do this by delivering:

Volunteer business mentoring

We train and match skilled adult volunteers to help community groups develop the necessary business infrastructure and plans for their long-term survival and success.  Our volunteers come from a wide range of professional backgrounds and provide free business mentoring to our members in key operational areas such as business planning, marketing, financial planning, fundraising, governance and impact measurement. In providing support to our members, for as long as up to six months, our volunteers help build the confidence, skills and business knowledge of the groups’ leaders, volunteers and staff to leave them better equipped for the future.

Programmes & Projects

Our programmes and projects provide our members with tailored support to help them become more inclusive and tackle major societal problems such as educational inequality and youth violence.

Sported’s programmes bring together the expert insight of partner organisations such as Women in Sport, with the professional support of Sported’s skilled volunteers. This holistic approach improves the knowledge base of the grassroots sports and voluntary sector by disseminating the latest research and insight. But most importantly, gives community groups the guidance and support they need to put the insight into action through the development and launch of new programmes, tailored to the needs and nuances of their local community.

Most public services weren't designed with domestic abuse in mind, and they often struggle to keep people safe. Poor communication and gaps between services put survivors at risk. Standing Together aim to end domestic abuse by changing the way that local areas respond to it. We do this through an approach that we pioneered, called the Coordinated Community Response (CCR).

The Coordinated Community Response brings services together to ensure local systems truly keep survivors safe, hold abusers to account, and prevent domestic abuse. Our model of a coordinated local partnership to tackle and ultimately prevent domestic abuse is now widely accepted as best practice.

We also deliver training to a range of professionals including criminal justice partners, police, health professionals, housing associations, MARACs, social services, local authorities and faith groups. If you are interested in learning more about the training we offer see our training page.

• Provide legal support challenging stop and search

Since forming in 2010, StopWatch has led a wide-ranging campaign against the disproportionate use of stop and search, the increasing use of exceptional stop and search powers and the weakening of accountability mechanisms. This includes legal and policy analysis, media coverage and commentary, political advocacy, litigation, submissions to national and international organisations and community organising. The unique mix of academics, activists, young people and lawyers has proved effective at challenging the current use of the tactic and drawing attention to the realities for those on the receiving end of police powers.

At Street Doctors we believe knowledge is power, so we equip young people at risk of youth violence with the skills to save lives in their communities and with the knowledge to make informed decisions about keeping themselves and others safe. We do this by teaching emergency first aid, including what to do if someone is bleeding or unconscious.

We use a peer to peer teaching approach delivered by our network of young healthcare volunteers (student nurses, paramedics and doctors) who work in partnership with criminal justice services, schools, pupil referral units, sports and community groups. By putting young people at the centre of emergency first-aid provision, we empower young people to become part of the solution to youth violence, rather than just being seen as ‘part of the problem’.  £44,100 was recently awarded to Street Doctors in Croydon and Hackney to deliver a partnership project to educate up to 300 young people with knowledge of dangers and risks of knife crime, first aid training and lifesaving skills.

Streets of Growth

This is an organisation which is all about partnership which directly addresses the challenges of youth violence.

“The back story to the founding of Streets of Growth was quite simply a response to growing number of young adults on our council estates disengaging current youth provisions and wider educational and economic opportunities. Instead, many were getting caught up in low-level anti-social behaviour and more formalised street gang drug dealing, violence and associated criminality. Being both local residents and professionals in this work ourselves, who had either grown up or were still living in these neighbourhoods, we wanted to build an intervention model that challenged and removed the unhealthy dependence upon Police, Prisons, and Youth Clubs being the answer to tackling disengaged young communities living harmful lifestyles.

In 2001, following intensive international research on a Sir Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship finding world class practitioners, who themselves were asking similar questions and building cutting edge approaches, we were inspired to build our own entrepreneurial intervention model here in the east end of London. Our core aim was to build a healthier bridge that interweaved organisation led interventions with community led interventions, with young adults at the centre of leading change in their lives, their streets, and their futures. Today, our charity has grown to become a multi award winning model of approach we now call the Appropriate Intervention Bridging Model ™.

Our journey has not been easy where we have all had to make life changing sacrifices and ask ourselves some very tough questions to shift our own thinking and habitual behaviours in order to stay at the top of our game in this work. But it is our relentless dedication and organisational and community culture, that we instil into every young adult we encounter to ensure they achieve their fullest potential in this world.

Despite space, funding, and finding the right calibre of person being an ever-imposing threat to our existence and growth, we have gone from starting out with a disused shop, to developing a semi derelict temporary use print factory that we converted into an 8000 sq ft intervention centre before it was recently torn down to make way for luxury apartment blocks, to transforming a temporary use office block next to the Canary Wharf financial district, to now currently operating from a converted disused nursery building. Such is our resilience that every move involved designing and converting dilapidated spaces with no grant build funding and using 95% reclaimed, repurposed and upcycled materials. We ensure that every space we adopt and adapt involve and offer our young client’s bespoke interventions to transform their socioeconomic situation, so they are internally and externally supported to live out of harm’s way as they learn to compete in the regeneration opportunities that previously passed them. Awarded £34,646 to outreach to 50 high-risk young people on three estates in Tower Hamlets and deliver coaching support, life skills workshops and anti-social behaviour awareness workshops.

At breakfast time, at the school gates, in the park, and as their heads hit the pillows; it doesn't matter where they are or what they're up to, for a whole generation of children – every day is tough.

We're here because across the UK there are children finding it hard to cope for an uncomfortable number of reasons. That's why TLG is all about helping churches to bring hope and a future to struggling children.

Local churches – they are the beating heart of TLG. In every town and city across the UK, you'll find church communities full of ordinary people ready to make an extraordinary difference. As a Christian charity, we're confident in the impact that churches of all shapes and sizes can have in their own communities.

TLG's network of more than 200 partner churches, 80 staff and 1,100 trained volunteers is transforming lives for good every day.  Since day one, we've supported over 10,000 children and young people and we're not done yet.

With our nationwide network of partner churches, we are committed to reaching out to some of the most vulnerable children in the UK. With expertise in school exclusions, emotional wellbeing and holiday hunger, TLG is one of the UK's fastest growing children's charities.

Since Together was formed in 1879, we have believed that people with mental health issues have the right and the abilities to lead independent, fulfilling lives as part of their communities.
The people who use our services are at the heart of everything we do. They influence and shape the support they receive from us, and the way our services are run.
These core beliefs underpin the vision, mission and values we aspire to.
We understand that everyone who seeks our support is different and their needs are individual to them. We believe in enabling people to lead their own recovery at their own pace by supporting their decisions about the care they receive.
We offer a wide variety of support to help people deal with the personal and practical impacts of mental health issues. The services we can provide range from one-to-one support in the community to supported accommodation and making sure people understand and are able to express their needs in their dealings with official bodies.
We now work with nearly 5000 adults every month at 80 projects throughout England. You can find your nearest service using our service finder.

We are committed to tackling inequality of opportunity, and countering adversity, by enabling and developing positive, supportive relationships uniting school, club and community.

TackleLondon was established to make a tangible, constructive difference to the lives of 6- to 24-year-old Londoners who face disproportionate challenges including living with ACEs. We work with schools and rugby clubs, in communities affected by increased levels of poverty, neglect and social disadvantage, to facilitate access to our own brand of sports mentoring: regular and ongoing engagement with trusted, reliable adults.

By providing access both to sport and to stable, dependable relationships, we aim to bring about significant, long-term change. These benefits are not confined to regular physical activity and the development of new skills. The establishment of friendships and trust in teamwork, alongside respect for colleagues, opponents and officials, is equally important. Above all, the transformational change we seek to influence derives from the positive effect of mentoring and its resultant influence on a young person's aspiration to, and realisation of, their own potential.

We know that effective early intervention is about taking action as soon as possible to tackle problems for children, young people and families before they become more difficult to reverse.  We plan to ensure that children and young people in Edmonton, Enfield are listened to, inspired and enabled to meet their full potential and express the concerns that mean the most to them.  This project is funded by the Young Londoners Fund.

The Mayor created the Young Londoners Fund to help give young people the support they need to build a better future and avoid getting caught up in crime. The fund will see £30m made available for projects in local communities. The remaining £15m will be invested to expand existing projects funded by City Hall that support young Londoners.

A lack of diversity in the medical field is a pressing issue; the majority of medical school applicants come from a minority of schools and applicants from underrepresented backgrounds are less likely to be successful.

We envision an NHS workforce that reflects the diverse society it serves and where any student possessing the capability and passion for becoming a doctor is able to, irrespective of their background.

We believe that the only way to achieve sustained, effective change is through cohesive, long-term intervention. Our three, two-year programmes are designed to inspire, equip, and increase the self-confidence of students who want to study medicine, from year 8 through to year 13. Created and delivered by inspirational young medics, these school-based programmes will transform the NHS of tomorrow by bringing equity to the medical school admissions process and giving students from underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Character development is embedded in all our work and we co-produce the activities with the girls to ensure that the activities are always relevant to the girls' needs and goals.

The Challenger Trust is a UK registered charity that has been working with some of the most socio- and economically- deprived areas of the UK for over 20 years. We help young people to raise their aspirations, develop vital character attributes and learn lifelong skills that will improve their academic achievement and future employment opportunities, whilst meeting Ofsted criteria. This is all strongly influenced by the Department for Education's policy to encourage more 'character education' in every young person's learning.

In 2014, The Trust became a sponsor of the Challenger Multi-Academy Trust (CMAT), a group of schools in which the 'Challenger' model is supported and developed: an environment for study where honesty, character and fair play are highly valued, and the Challenger Diploma is an integral part of improving standards and achieving academic success. The Trust's duties as sponsor of CMAT are to appoint the leadership team and select the governing body, monitor the academy's performance, reporting to the DfE as necessary, and making sure the academy spends its funding effectively.

The Childhood Trust funds grass roots charities and their projects to alleviate the impact of child poverty in London. Every child has the right to a safe and happy childhood so we partner with and fund the very best initiatives and projects.

We use our funds to generate and match other donations, primarily through our online fundraising campaigns and fundraising partnerships. Since our inception in 2013 we have been able to multiply funds donated to us by an average factor of 4.69, meaning that for every £1 donated to us, we've generated £4.69 of funding for projects supporting children. In total, since 2013 our matched giving campaigns have raised £14.8m. We make grants to proven charities that are working directly with disadvantaged children. Our work is themed across three areas; meeting children's practical needs, supporting children's emotional needs and inspiring children with new experiences and opportunities. Our support across these themes promotes the development of strong foundations for learning, resilience and aspiration. The impact of our grants is externally monitored and since we started we have helped more than 180,000 children through our partnerships with over 150 charities throughout London.

We provide specialist support that empowers young people to make positive changes and rediscover their hope. They want a future they can look forward to and we're here to make sure they get it. Working alongside young people, their families and community, we will not rest until together, step-by-step, we've created a society built for all children.

Young people come to us when they have low self-esteem. When they're living in families who can't afford the next meal, the next size up in school uniform. Or when there's no one else to lean on.

Refugee and migrant children land in this country alone and look to us for guidance to achieve the life they dreamed of. To have a settled home, a secure job and starting a family. They're not asking for too much.

We see teenagers in our services who want to quit using drugs or alcohol. Who are looking after mum, dad, or their siblings more than they bargained for. Or who have been taken advantage of and find themselves carrying drugs to far away towns, or having sex with strangers.

Often, the hope inside them has taken a battering, it might only be hanging by a thread. But we know it's there. And we see a better future is within reach.

a major independent commission to evidence and design a new national system to prevent crisis in vulnerable young people and support them to succeed in life. It launched in September 2021 and is chaired by Anne Longfield CBE, the former Children's Commissioner for England, and hosted by the Oasis Charitable Trust, who have decades of experience of working in and with communities, empowering families and vulnerable children.

Thousands of children in England are growing up living very vulnerable lives. Every year, hundreds of the most vulnerable fall off the radar of the education and social services system, putting them at increased risk of criminal or sexual exploitation and making them more likely to become caught up in the criminal justice system. Their chances of entering adulthood with positive opportunities and choices are low and as adults they are more likely to be seen in our prisons or suffering from serious mental health problems or homelessness. The problem has been growing over recent years but has also been exacerbated by the Covid pandemic.

Bringing together experts and working collaboratively with system leaders, the Commission will identify solutions which can transform the outcomes of the most marginalised teenagers who are at risk of violence, harm, criminalisation, and diminished opportunities.

Preventing young people from entering the justice system is in all our interests. That is why we are co-producing a new way to bring hope and success to young people through education and personal support.

The Commission on Young Lives will publish a series of interim reports throughout the year and its final report in Autumn 2022.

The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a charitable organisation of bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents dedicated to the support and care of other similarly bereaved family members who have suffered the death of a child or children of any age and from any cause.

Many people who have suffered the loss of a child feel a bond with others in the same situation and wish to extend the hand of friendship. We offer support, both directly to bereaved families, and indirectly by fostering understanding and good practice amongst professionals concerned with child death and by increasing public awareness.

In TCF, “family” covers a broad spectrum of relationships. We aim to help any individual or family affected by the death of a child, including unmarried partners, adoptive parents, step families, same sex couples and single parent families.

TCF has no religious affiliation and offers support to bereaved families irrespective of the age of the child, cause of death, ethnic, social or political background. We respect the privacy of all those who come to us for support and offer a confidential service.

On a Regenerate UK  trip (see too in this FKCL directory) taking young people from London estates to volunteer in Kenya with a project supporting street children, a light bulb moment happened. One of the young people on the trip who had been heavily involved in gang life, poured out his heart saying he didn't want to go back to a negative lifestyle when back in London, he wanted to help others, but he didn't believe he could even get any kind of legitimate job back home.
We decided to set up an enterprise that would support, train and employ young people that wanted to turn their lives around and at the same time do something that makes a difference in the wider world. We set up The Feel Good Bakery.

We support local young people facing barriers to employment by offering amazing work opportunities as baristas, and for every coffee we sell we fund a meal for a child in need. We are proudly part of Regenerate, the youth work charity based in Roehampton and Putney.

Since being established in 2014 we have created over 60 jobs for local young people who wanted the opportunity to turn their lives around. Not only that, we have funded over 280,000 meals for children through our 'one for one' scheme working in partnership with grassroots organisations in Kenya and Romania.

In response to the challenges on the Bakery business due to Covid-19, in July 2020 we set up our first mobile coffee cart and then in September we started another one. Over the next two years we plan to create employment for at least 75 young people in our community through our growing fleet of coffee carts! See for example our services in battered and at Vine Rd, Barnes.
